The Sales Director will be responsible for maximizing Veeco's sales volume and building influential relationships with customers. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, Japan Sales, the Sales Director will manage and coordinate all sales activities and has the overall sales responsibility for the company's capital equipment sales for the assigned customers. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting business unit strategies for growing services revenue and will align and coordinate the efforts of appropriate resources within both Veeco and the customer in order to maximize customer satisfaction. The primary role is to attain sales goals by developing sales, increasing product market share, establishing and enhancing relationships with customers, and maximizing customer satisfaction without sacrificing profitability.
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or related technical degree preferred) and at least 10 years of sales experience in the capital equipment industry. Experience with Veeco's product line is preferred.
