As a Solution Specialist for Verily Sightline, you will be responsible for managing the sales process to bring wastewater testing, sequencing, and population health data insights to new and existing customers, primarily in the public sector and government (including federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal) market segments. This will include understanding customer needs, acting as a trusted advisor to define the solution, driving pricing and contracting, and ensuring that the implementation team is set up for success. You will work cross functionally within the Public Sector Commercial team and with colleagues across Verily, in particular the wastewater laboratory, data platform, and program management teams. In addition, you will be a key stakeholder in the development of new products and features focused on population health. This role will require you to be flexible and nimble and grow the business to help establish Verily as the premier solution partner for population health insights to drive decision making across multiple customer types.
Serve as the product-specific client-facing subject matter expert for Verily Sightline, initially focused on the suite of wastewater monitoring products and services. Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with customers and partners to drive impactful solutions that benefit all stakeholders. Spearhead strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, from initial lead generation to successful deal closure. This includes crafting compelling value propositions, uncovering and addressing customer needs, negotiating favorable terms, and securing contracts. Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams by sharing valuable customer and partner feedback on pricing, market challenges, innovation, and the competitive landscape. Partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and cross-functionally across Verily to achieve individual and shared goals, contributing to both team success and company-wide milestones/OKRs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, public health, healthcare or related fields. 10+ years of relevant experience in sales, customer success, or partnership management specifically engaging with public sector and/or government stakeholders. 3+ years working in or with state, territorial, local, tribal, or federal government agencies. Experience selling or implementing complex solutions and track record of driving significant revenue growth or successful project completion. Proven ability to work with complex, technical software or health related service offerings, and processes involving multiple stakeholders, particularly within a public health setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in a related technical or scientific field. Ability to take initiative, work efficiently and respond quickly to changes and a dynamic environment. A positive attitude, open mind, entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to collaborate and learn. Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $198,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
