- The Enterprise Account Executive will play a key role in developing the territory, focusing on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth - Responsibilities include managing the entire sales process, meeting or exceeding individual targets, and contributing to overall team and company success - The role involves initiating and managing expansion discussions to drive customer retention, devising a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy, and partnering with channel partner sales organizations - The Account Executive will drive business growth and enhance market presence through customer engagements, marketing campaigns, executive briefings, and industry conferences - The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of Verkada's business and products to confidently sell to various sectors within the assigned territory

⚡ Requirements

- Experienced sales professional with a proven track record in driving new business acquisition, particularly in the State, Local, Education, and Corporate markets - Strong field sales experience with a hunter sales mentality and a focus on prospecting and closing new logos - Customer-focused individual with extensive experience developing relationships within SLED accounts and managing longer, complex sales cycles - Self-motivated, tenacious, and confident with excellent communication skills and a high level of self-awareness - Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to engage in prospecting to maintain individual funnels
