Inside Sales Representative, Power Sales
The Inside Sales Representative, Power Sales role will take responsibility for managing and growing assigned accounts. The representative works directly with external sales and customers to provide Vertiv proposals, follow up on prospect requests, and achieve additional sales. The role is responsible for promoting and selling Vertiv's current AC power offerings to customers by building relationships and generating new business.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve established revenue target for assigned accounts through follow-up
- Create and track opportunities and quotes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- Responsible for updating opportunities and customer information in CRM tool, including wins/losses/cancellations
- Obtain customer orders and enter them correctly for billing
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer communications (calls and emails) and escalate to others for technical support if needed
- Increase customer satisfaction by serving as customer advocate to interact with various internal departments
- Establish working knowledge of related product lines, new and existing, by completing company training and on-the-job experience
- Provide pre and post-sale technical support between Vertiv and customers
- Work closely with Vertiv field sales teams on shared opportunities; Identify opportunities as they arise
- Review or generate optimized Vertiv solution configurations to meet specific application requirements
- Configure, price, and quote solutions to customers
- Provide submittal drawings for approval
- Provide technical sales support to customers through training and presentations
- Serve as escalation point for customers on pre and post-sale technical issues
- Provide application engineering support via phone, email, and web
- Willingness to adapt to other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree (preferred) or equivalent
- 3-5 years technical sales experience in the industry
- Strong phone/video presence and experience with multiple daily interactions
- Proficiency in enterprise productivity and web presentation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual French/English required
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Periods of office/computer work
Travel Required:
- Occasional travel to customers or for company training
