Sales Support Coordinator I

Job Summary: The Sales Support Coordinator I is an entry-level individual contributor role that supports Vertiv's Sales operations by managing full-string orders. Under close supervision, this position is responsible for creating accurate and timely quotes generated from leads entered by Customer Engineers. This includes developing detailed cost estimates for batteries, labor, freight, and disposal services. The role requires careful review of lead information, coordination with internal stakeholders to validate costs, and adherence to established pricing and approval guidelines. By ensuring completeness and accuracy in the quotation process, this position supports sales efforts, drives battery opportunities, and contributes to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. Assignments are routine and guided by established processes. The coordinator works closely with sales representatives, Regional Battery Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely quotes are delivered to end customers. This role provides foundational exposure to Vertiv's sales operations and is designed to support future development and internal career growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and process quote leads and responsible for the provision of proposals to the Regional Battery Sales Managers.
  • Provide battery, freight, disposal, scrap (lead credit) and labor costing thru coordination with Suppliers and Planners
  • Manages transfers costing to CPQ quotes.
  • Coordinates with Customer Engineer, Power Technical Support and Supplier on batteries under warranty.
  • Manages Full String quotes covered under contract.
  • Responsible for sourcing batteries when necessary.
  • Responds timely and accurately to customer issues.
  • Answer calls transmitted through Full string queue.
  • Track projects to completion and follow up as required.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree of any 4-year course
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • High Attention to Detail
  • MS Office proficient.
  • Strong knowledge of the support (quotation and order entry fulfilment) preferred
  • Knowledge of US geography and transportation systems.
  • 1 or more years of experience focused on coordination of projects
  • Previous Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience preferred
  • Proficient English required
