We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Manager, Francophone Africa to join our growing team. This role will be based in the region (e.g., Cameroon, Senegal, or Ivory Coast).
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base across the CEMAC and WAEMU regions, with a focus on XAF and XOF flows.
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team dedicated to the region.
Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Use data to accurately track, report, and present sales performance, refining strategies based on insights.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and developments in the CEMAC and WAEMU markets.
Establish and implement scalable sales processes, including enablement and training programs.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, ideally in payments, fintech, banking, or related B2B industries.
Proven track record of consistently meeting revenue targets and building successful sales teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Deep understanding of SMBs and strong business contacts within key sectors across the CEMAC and/or WAEMU regions.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Experience in international trade, logistics, or cross-border payments.
Deep knowledge of African markets and trade regulations, particularly within the CEMAC and WAEMU zones.
Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Wolof, Fang, Ewondo, Sango).
Familiarity with regional payment systems, such as BCEAO and BEAC settlement protocols.
Experience with advanced sales analytics and performance management tools.
Background in developing and delivering sales enablement and training programs.
A certification in sales management or a related field.
