A Petroleum Distribution Salesman will promote Legacy Farmers Cooperative to enhance the image of the co-op, its members and employees. Directly involved with customer sales, service, recommendations, handling and delivering petroleum and petroleum products.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Provide a full service, organized system that efficiently facilitates and delivers a full line of petroleum products

Make sales calls on an organized basis for current customers and prospects and document for management monthly review

Responsible for all company records for loading, transfers, inventory, delivery, invoice and sales reports

Responsible for customer relationships

Position requires a full range of body motion including bending, squatting and twisting

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and reach with hands and arms above shoulders

Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent

CDL required - Class A Hazmat/Tanker/Air Brake

Proof of and maintaining a safe driving record is a condition of employment and will be certified and monitored by LFC's insurance provider

Responsible for equipment assigned, such as truck

Required to uphold LFC's safety policies as well as Credit policies

Self-motivated and ability to work well with others and independently

Build a growing and profitable petroleum division through efficient sales, service and delivery

Leads by example and promotes a strong safety culture within LFC

Ability to read and follow detailed directions

Learn and demonstrate new processes/skills as required

Ability to adapt to and work longer and/or varied hours during busy season as the needs of the business dictate

Customer-service focused

Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills

Full Benefits Package Offered-401K, Health benefits, Paid Vacation/Sick/Holidays, plus much more!! No overnight travel. Standard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standard.
