Responsibilities:
Establish and surpass an annual sales budget exceeding the previous year's figures. Build and maintain quality relationships with existing accounts and increase account base and sales volume consistently. Report to the supervisor and upper management on business status clearly and concisely. Contact customers via telephone, email, correspondence, or in person, traveling as necessary to meet and exceed profitable sales goals. Continuously reevaluate work to increase market share. Assess the quality of offerings and develop strategies to boost the company's market share. Create customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements efficiently. Stay updated on market conditions, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies. Utilize company leads to expand the customer base and follow up on all leads promptly. Maintain organized files on all accounts in the assigned territory. Submit call reports to the supervisor within 48 hours after customer visits. Submit monthly sales reports to the supervisor, detailing account activity, proposals, and updates. Provide information or follow up on customers as requested. Maintain close contact with Technical Service for new applications and developmental projects. Collaborate with Technical Service to promote new application areas supporting new or expanded markets. Develop partnerships with new customers to expand presence and expertise in the specialty enzyme area.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline. Previous sales experience in the food industry is a plus.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $41.02/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
