Sales Planner
The Sales Planner plays a key role in driving revenue growth across CNN's cross-platform media offerings by supporting the sales process from end to end. This role is essential to the daily operations of the team and is involved across every aspect of the campaign lifecycle – from proposal development, planning, execution, delivery, and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Sales Planner helps ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and meet performance KPIs, to ensure client satisfaction and retention. This position supports the Singapore CNNIC Advertising Sales team across Southeast Asia (SEA) and Northeast Asia (NEA) accounts.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Coordinate and manage campaign needs across the full lifecycle with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Maintain smooth running of live campaigns, monitor performance, uncover insights, and work with teams to implement optimizations
- Effectively manage media planning, reporting, contracting, billing, and other supporting needs tailored to each campaign
- Develop a strong understanding of CNN's audience, platforms, products and capabilities; stay up to date on product developments and innovations
- Provide timely, professional support to both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant media or agency experience; cross-platform experience preferred
- Familiarity with the global media landscape is an advantage
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualifications
- Exceptionally detail-oriented, with strong financial acumen
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
- Proactive, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and calm under pressure; quick to learn
- Works well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Curious, with a genuine interest in the business; contributes meaningfully to team discussions
