Account Executive

We're looking for an Account Executive (School Sales Representative) to join our sales department. The ideal candidate should have a passion for education, a deal-closing mentality, and an outstanding work ethic. Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with state, district, school, and community leaders
  • Use strong leadership and people skills while conducting Waterford product or service demonstrations
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales goals thanks to your work ethic and inventive business strategies
  • Become a specialist in PreK-12 markets and industry trends
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our competitors and use your insight to promote Waterford software as the better product
  • Study the Waterford brand, your target demographic, and educational pedagogy to become a consultant among sales reps
  • Identify problems as they arise and find innovative, yet practical solutions
  • Provide accurate forecasting with daily CRM updates–Salesforce experience preferred
  • Continuously champions, promotes, and advances diversity, equity, and inclusion at Waterford.org

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales or similar subject area (work experience will be substituted for degree)
  • 2+ year of experience in sales (preferably educational technology)

Working at Waterford.org:

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate this full time, salary position will pay $95,000 - $98,000 per year depending on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. We also offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance. New hires receive a one-time HSA contribution. Retirement contributions are matched up to 5% by the organization. Plus, a generous vacation, sick, and holiday offering.
