Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and facilitate end-to-end billing processes within the AWS Billing organization to ensure accurate and timely delivery of billing artifacts to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and customer support, to resolve billing discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage the billing lifecycle, from data collection and validation to artifact generation and customer delivery, meeting strict service-level-agreement (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize billing workflows, reduce processing time and minimize errors.
  • Leverage analytical tools and dashboards like Power BI and AWS Quicksight to track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for billing operations and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and high-priority issues, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives by developing and maintaining documentation for private pricing processes and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): 1) in billing operations, revenue cycle management, or related experience; 2) with ERP systems and billing software; 3) with data analysis and reporting; 4) with SQL and database management; 5) working with revenue recognition principles; 6) managing billing operations and systems and resolving complex billing issues; 7) with compliance requirements and industry regulations; 8) developing and implementing billing procedures; 9) with process improvement and optimization; and 10) with accounts receivable management, and contract terms and pricing structures.
