Key job responsibilities include:
A day in the life involves building mechanisms that help detect and eliminate fake reviews, and standing up programs for holistic risk assessment across our Selling Partners and Buyers. This person will partner with cross functional teams in engineering, data science, legal and other groups to develop automated and manual detection systems and improve our process. You must have a desire to drive change, interpret data for action and constantly be aware that your actions can help improve the shopping experience for tens of millions of Amazon customers worldwide.
The Sales Abuse Prevention team builds and operates systems that safeguard trust in the Amazon content. We protect shoppers from untrustworthy content and contributors through machine-learned content filters, forensic relationship-detection systems, abusive behavior pattern detection, and investigator tools. We partner with product-development, quality and customer-service teams across the company to make content moderation efficient and effective, deep dive in abuse investigations and respond to customer contacts. Our charter also extends to tools and processes that enable content owners to enforce, manage, and update their policies in cases where sharing resources is necessary.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
