As an Application Chemist, this role will combine excellent scientific skills with strong commercial business acumen, and the desire to contribute to the customers' success by helping them choose the best system solution from Waters product portfolio to address the customers' analytical challenges. The Applications Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus on LC & MS instrumentation.
Educational Background: A BSc in a relevant field is required; MSc is preferred.
Pre-Sales Experience: At least 3 years of pre-sales experience in analytical instrumentation, particularly with chromatography (HPLC, UHPLC, UPLC). Experience with mass spectrometry (LC-MS/ GC-MS) or Empower software would be advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Strong experience in method development, troubleshooting HPLC and other analytical instruments.
Industry Application Knowledge: Ability to apply knowledge to various fields such as pharma, food, environmental sciences, chemical materials, and biopharma. Experience with biopharma applications would be advantageous
