We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Staffing Sales Director to join our dynamic team, specializing in selling staffing solutions to healthcare organizations, including hospitals, assisted living facilities (ALFs), nursing homes, home care providers, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This critical role requires a proven closer with deep experience in the healthcare sector, capable of building strong relationships with key decision-makers and delivering customized staffing solutions that address their unique challenges. The ideal candidate will actively engage clients by attending trade shows, visiting head offices, and leveraging their expertise to sell effectively to C-level executives and other key stakeholders in healthcare organizations. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by securing long-term partnerships, positioning our services as the go-to solution for healthcare staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to engage healthcare organizations, including ALFs, nursing homes, home care agencies, SNFs, and hospitals, focusing on staffing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
  • Actively participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads, build brand awareness, and establish relationships with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings at clients' head offices, presenting tailored staffing solutions to C-level executives, HR leaders, and operational managers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify prospective clients, understand their staffing pain points, and craft compelling proposals that showcase the value of our healthcare informatics and managed staffing services.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, trade show follow-ups, and leveraging referrals to drive consistent engagement.
  • Deliver high-impact sales presentations and consultations, clearly articulating how our staffing solutions address specific healthcare challenges, such as talent shortages, compliance, and cost management.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex deals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring alignment with client needs, with a focus on achieving and surpassing quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment and account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client satisfaction following deal closure.
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and refine strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to maintain a strategic edge in positioning our staffing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of high-end sales experience, with a mandatory requirement of direct experience selling to healthcare organizations, including ALFs, nursing homes, home care providers, SNFs, or hospitals; experience in staffing or related solutions is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to close complex business deals, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging healthcare decision-makers, including C-level executives, through trade shows, head office visits, and strategic sales approaches.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare industry challenges, particularly in talent acquisition, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives, HR leaders, and operational decision-makers in healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data-driven sales approaches is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications in sales or healthcare management are a bonus.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and adaptable, with a hunter mentality suited for a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for trade shows, client meetings at head offices, and industry networking opportunities.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience, complemented by a commission structure that significantly boosts earning potential for high performers.
