We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and manage a sales team of approximately 10 professionals while driving significant revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully built, managed, and scaled mid-sized sales teams in a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate brings both strategic vision and day-to-day execution strength, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable to aggressive performance targets. This role will play a critical part in shaping sales operations, expanding market presence, and delivering sustained, scalable growth.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage, coach, and develop a sales team of roughly 10 account executives and sales professionals, setting clear expectations, performance goals, and accountability standards.
- Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that supports company growth objectives and scales effectively with team expansion.
- Drive consistent team performance through structured sales processes, regular coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance management.
- Own hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of sales talent, with a focus on retention and career progression.
- Identify and close new business opportunities while supporting the team in managing and expanding key client relationships.
- Monitor sales KPIs, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health, using data to improve team efficiency and results.
- Partner closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment across go-to-market initiatives.
- Represent the company in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and industry events as a senior sales leader.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role with direct responsibility for managing teams of 8–12+ sales professionals.
- Proven ability to scale, structure, and lead a sales organization while consistently hitting revenue targets.
- Strong people-management skills, including coaching underperformers, developing top talent, and building a performance-driven culture.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with executive-level presence.
- Experience in healthcare, medical supply, or complex B2B sales strongly preferred.
- Thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and balances leadership with hands-on involvement.
Compensation
- Base salary of $145,000 per year plus performance-based bonuses.
