Technical Sales Representative

Weatherford is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support our Well Construction, Completions & Production (WCCP) portfolio based in Perth. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by delivering technical sales solutions, building strong client relationships, and positioning Weatherford's products and services to meet customer needs.

You will leverage your technical and operational knowledge to engage customers across rig sites, workshops, and offices, ensuring high-value solutions are effectively communicated and executed. This is a hands-on, field-facing role with full ownership of the sales lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives
  • Present technical solutions through proposals, tenders, and client discussions
  • Provide product and application expertise across WCCP offerings
  • Support customers on-site to ensure service quality and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical and service issues
  • Monitor market activity and provide competitive intelligence
  • Maintain accurate sales data using systems such as SFDC
  • Ensure compliance with Weatherford HSE, Quality, and governance standards
  • Take ownership of the full sales lifecycle from opportunity to close

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6+ years relevant experience
  • Proven experience in technical sales within Oil & Gas (Well Construction/Completions/Production)
  • Strong operational or field background in Well Construction, Completions or related product lines
  • Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and drive commercial outcomes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to quickly build knowledge of Weatherford products and services
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10–25%)
