- The Senior Sales Account Executive will be responsible for proactively sourcing and onboarding new businesses onto the Square Ecosystem in the UK market - The role involves focusing on closing deals in the SMB/Mid-Market Space and partnering with the Business Development Team to convert and close cold, outbound leads - The successful candidate will lead the charge in introducing Square to merchants in various verticals such as retail, food and drink, and professional services - Responsibilities include achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals through proactive outbound sales efforts and partnering with Product and Marketing teams to ensure solutions meet market needs - The role also involves utilizing a predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process to fill the pipeline and close deals, as well as executing face-to-face sales motions to build strong relationships and increase win rates

⚡ Requirements

- Experienced sales professional with a track record of exceeding targets and closing complex deals in a fast-paced environment - Strong business development skills with a focus on hunting and cold calling to drive sales growth - Collaborative team player with a proactive and go-getting attitude, always striving for success - Prior experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track and report on sales activities - Ability to understand and address the business and technology needs of clients using a consultative and value-based selling approach
