Purpose of the role: To guarantee the achievement of the goals established in the KPIs of their Sales Representatives within the mining, construction, and industrial markets where Weir Esco products can be applied (i.e., Sales, Margins, Visits, Orders, Collections, Distribution, Exhibition, among others).

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, present, and execute sales strategies that will generate a profitable impact on the company and increase its market share.
  • Define the sales targets to be achieved by each individual District Manager or the group and assign monthly quotas to their team members.
  • Continuously analyzed the structures of the sales areas and assigned operational projects in their region to distribute the established visit plans, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of their team's work.
  • Examine the feasibility of making cost and company-level changes to meet the client's needs, offering special discounts.
  • Constant monitoring of market movements to detect opportunities and recommend possible action plans.
  • Propose, create, and execute special projects (testing, training plans, market intelligence, etc.) that help develop the business.
  • Lead the Company's corresponding promotional or innovation plans and develop strategies to achieve the goals in their region.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and ensure their resolution.
  • Determining their sales projection at part level (Sales and operation planning).

Key education and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Commercial Management is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar sales leadership roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Availability to travel.
