Sales Advisor

Founded in 1988, WEP is a leading European organization specialized in educational and cultural programs abroad. Every year, nearly 10,000 young people trust us to organize their life-changing experiences in more than 50 destinations worldwide.

We are present across Europe and internationally, including Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the UK, Denmark, Norway, and Australia. Our mission is to help young people (and not-so-young ones!) discover the world differently, broaden their horizons, and create unforgettable memories through meaningful travel experiences.

Join our community and help change the lives of thousands of young people every year.

In Norway, we operate under the name of My Education, being part of the WEP group.

Are you ready to: inspire future participants and make them dream about what could be one of the most exciting adventures of their lives? Share your passion for travel and your own international experiences? Advise and guide participants in choosing the WEP program that truly fits their goals and personality? Make a real impact by helping young people grow through educational and cultural travel?

If you are motivated, dynamic, and passionate, you might be exactly who we are looking for. The adventure starts now.

Your role as a Sales Advisor

As a Sales Advisor at WEP Norway, you will be the first point of contact for our future participants and play a key role in turning their international dreams into reality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising prospective participants and their families on our programs through in-person and online meetings, phone calls, emails, webinars, fairs, and events
  • Representing the WEP spirit by delivering clear, accurate information and personalized advice
  • Building trust-based relationships by actively listening to participants, understanding their needs, and anticipating their questions
  • Following up on leads and information requests to support the decision-making process
  • Continuously developing in-depth knowledge of our programs, destinations, and updates through ongoing training and close contact with our international partners
  • Contributing to the promotion of our programs through events, presentations, promotional actions, and digital initiatives
  • Occasionally participating in pre-departure meetings and orientation sessions for participants
  • Student Management: Interview candidates and follow up on the application process with the student, parents/guardians, and communicate with the partner organization in the host country. Be skilled at finding solutions and talking to students and parents

About you

You are someone who:

  • Is passionate about travel and strongly believes in its educational and personal value
  • Has lived abroad (school exchange, language stay, internship, gap year, long-term travel, etc.)
  • Has at least 2–3 years of experience in a B2C sales or advisory role
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and engaging presence. Be skilled at problem solving.
  • Has a strong sales mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Is able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Has a good level of English (Norwegian proficiency is required; additional languages are a plus)
  • Is flexible and willing to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events
  • Is committed to WEP's vision of educational and cultural travel
  • Flexible with work tasks where needed, such as assisting with incoming students, applications, and the follow-up of students and host families.
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with High School Exchange and Language programs.

What we offer

  • A dynamic, friendly, and inspiring work environment
  • A full-time permanent contract
  • Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses
  • Additional benefits (such as meal vouchers or local equivalents)
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Real opportunities for growth within a flexible, international, and fast-growing organization
