Wolt Norway is entering the next phase of development and is now looking for a star Sales Lead who is willing to be a part of an inspiring, fun and rewarding journey. The role reports directly to the Head of Commercial and will be a key member of the Lead team. You will be responsible for leading a passionate team consisting of several sub-teams, developing and implementing commercial and expansion strategies, growing and developing Wolt’s venue and corporate partnership portfolio and managing all sales activities in the market.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead sales team of 5-10 senior sales managers.
Lead the field sales team for specific markets and projects, and ensure we meet our SMB signing targets within retail and restaurant.
Recruit, develop and coach the sales team and instill ‘best in the world’ approach in all that you do. This includes working alongside central Talent Acquisition and Development to attract and maintain high performing superstars
Be part of the sales leadership team, being a key contributor to the well-being of the entire team and overall business strategies
Market Expansion & Strategy
Create and implement the sales strategy to develop the portfolio and grow Wolt’s business in the market, as well as building needed processes for pipeline management.
Own your venue portfolio development strategy, which includes evaluating market potential and mapping potential new areas, identifying gaps in venue portfolio, keeping abreast of competitor activities and adjusting plans when needed
Own sales operation including building key metrics, processes and tracking tools to ensure right priority and high performance
Track performance and prioritize resources to deliver on expansion, city building and field sales strategies
Field Operations & Partnership Development
Travel to the largest markets or cities we are expanding to. Approx. 10-20% of the time will most likely be traveling.
Support the sales and build relationship with the largest partners
Conduct negotiations with regional or larger restaurant or retail partners.
