Wolt is a technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to home or to the office. Our local commerce platform makes it easy for customers to order whatever they need on one app, for merchants to make additional sales, and for couriers to make meaningful earnings flexibly. To enable this, Wolt develops a wide range of technologies from local commerce platform to retail software and financial solutions, as well as operates its own grocery stores under the brand Wolt Market. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash operates in 27 countries today, 23 of which are with the Wolt product and brand.

What You'll Be Doing

Day-to-day in this role you'll:

• Identifying potential retail partnerships retailers that are a great fit for Wolt.
• Systematically managing the pipeline of new potential partnerships.
• Start relationships with the identified retailers.
• Understanding venue performance in order to set profitable business terms and conducting negotiations regarding partnership terms.
• Creating a strong communications loop alongside our account management team & Onboarding team.
• Making sound business decisions by supporting intuition with data.

Our Humble Expectations

• A background in field sales is a plus, but we can teach you the rest. We're looking for someone ambitious and excited to join us on this journey!
• You have previous experience that consists of field sales, business development, events/product management.
• A natural 'hunter' with hunger to build and create a portfolio from the ground up.
• You are structured, detailed and service-oriented, and have experience working with data-driven sales processes.
• You are a natural people person, who enjoys building relationships with excellent communication and networking skills.
• Outgoing and excellent interpersonal skills. You adapt your tone to suit the audience and can clearly advise and communicate the value of campaigns and other initiatives.
• Persistent - you do not give up and get energy from working in a target-driven role and achieving your goals. High ownership and ambition to go beyond the obvious.
• Commercial flair with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Maltese is a plus)
• Driving license
