The role

WorkMotion is seeking a success-driven Senior Account Executive (Germany) (m/f/d) to accelerate our growth in the German market. In this quarterly quota-carrying, individual contributor role, you will act as a true new business hunter - identifying, prospecting, and winning new business across the region. Your focus will be on engaging new prospects, building strong relationships, and guiding them through the decision-making process. We believe in a consultative sales approach, understanding a prospect's needs and challenges before presenting how our hiring solutions create value. As a talented and articulate salesperson, you will succeed through perseverance, clear communication, and strong commercial thinking, shaping conversations that drive growth and deliver impact.

What you'll do:

  • Command your territory: You'll own the German market with confidence, managing the full sales cycle – from engaging qualified leads (BDRs, inbound, events, partners, outbound, etc.) to confidently closing impactful deals.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals: You'll achieve and aim to surpass your individual quarterly sales targets through disciplined execution and a results-driven approach.
  • Fuel pipeline growth: You'll proactively build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent, creative outbound strategies and by leveraging your professional network.
  • Be the trusted advisor: You'll build credibility by exploring each client's unique situation, framing challenges clearly, and providing solutions that generate real results and enduring relationships.
  • Master WorkMotion's solutions: You'll articulate our unique value propositions, with compliance at the core, and show prospects why WorkMotion is the partner of choice for borderless hiring.
  • Collaborate for success: You'll work closely with Sales Campaign Managers, BDRs, your Team Lead, Customer Success, and Marketing to gain a deeper understanding of the market, ensure every new client experiences a smooth transition and immediate value realization, and continuously refine your sales approach.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Proven Sales Drive: You have at least 2 years of closing experience in B2B sales (ideally in SaaS or a related tech/solution-driven environment) and bring solid knowledge of sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, along with a clear track record of success.
  • Quota Success: You have consistently achieved or overachieved your sales targets, demonstrating resilience and strong execution.
  • Outstanding Communicator & Influencer: You connect naturally with people, inspire trust, and influence decision-makers, including C-level executives, through clarity, confidence, and energy.
  • CRM Discipline: You bring a high degree of self-discipline and experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot (or similar). You take pride in keeping your pipeline clean, organized, and always up to date – it's how you stay in control.
  • Education & Experience: You hold a bachelor's degree or bring equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Language Skills: You are a native-level German speaker and business-fluent in English.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience selling to HR decision-makers
  • Confidence managing complex deals across long sales cycles

Measures of success:

Within your first month, you will have:

  • Completed onboarding and immersed yourself in our remote culture.

  • Mapped out key systems, processes, and stakeholders that rely on your work.

Within your second month, you will have:

  • Started building a pipeline in your assigned territory.
  • Confidently communicated WorkMotion's value propositions to prospects.

Within your third month, you will have:

  • Closed your first deal.
  • Established yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects.
