✨ About The Role
- The Director, Deal Desk & Sales Operations will oversee the review and approval process for all deals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies
- They will lead the redesign and optimization of the contracting process to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times, developing standardized templates and workflows for consistency and compliance
- This role involves partnering closely with the Enterprise Sales team to provide strategic support and guidance on complex deals, serving as the primary point of contact for Sales reps on deal structuring, pricing, and contract terms
- The Director will establish clear guidelines and expectations for Sales reps regarding deal submission and approval processes, delivering training programs to ensure Sales reps are well-versed in Deal Desk procedures and best practices
- They will also maintain collaborative relationships and provide support to Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Operations functions, ensuring quarter-end success related to revenue recognition, compliance, and sales goals
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline with 10+ years of experience in sales support, order management, or similar functions, including 3-5 years in sales operations within a SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, and other CRM systems, with a strong understanding of sales processes, contract management, and pricing strategies
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and a history of successful working relationships with field sales, along with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex challenges, work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, and drive process improvements for efficiencies and higher quality
