Account Executive – Natural Gas Commodity Sales

Location: Remote - US

World Kinect Corporation is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to lead new business development and renew existing client relationships in the natural gas commodity space. This is a high-impact role focused on selling energy products and services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers with significant natural gas consumption.

In addition to commodity sales, you'll have the opportunity to promote energy management and sustainability solutions from our Global Energy & Sustainability Services Group—helping clients reduce costs, manage risk, and meet environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for natural gas and energy solutions.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads across target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Lead compelling sales presentations both on-site and virtually.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract execution.
  • Maximize margins while delivering value to clients.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and propose innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate on lead generation strategies and share market intelligence.
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
  • Support additional initiatives and directives as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in natural gas commodity sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of competitive natural gas markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
