(Education Background) Bachelor & Above
(Professionals) Bachelor's/Master's degree in Process Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics, or related engineering fields.
(Working Experience) Minimum 10+ years in sales & engineering, preferably in DCS, Batch Control, MES, QMS, or LIMS solutions. Strong background in Pharmaceutical processes, GMP, and Food & Beverage automation. Proven track record in B2B industrial sales, key account management, and solution selling.
(Professional Skills) Sales-Driven Mindset and ability to create new projectsβ Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Technical Expertise β Deep knowledge of DCS, Batch Management, MES, QMS, LIMS, and process automation. Industry Knowledge β Understanding of Pharma (GMP, FDA/EMA compliance) and F&B manufacturing processes. Communication & Presentation β Fluent in English and Mandarin; ability to engage C-level executives. Analytical & Strategic Thinking β Ability to assess market trends and customer needs. CRM & MS Office Proficiency β Salesforce, SAP, or similar tools. Willingness to Travel β Frequent visits to customer sites, industry events, and regional offices.
(Others such as Language/Computer Skills) Fluent in English (written/spoken); Japanese proficiency is advantageous. Good command of MS office software application and be capable of CRM software using, ie. Salesforce Problem-solving and Result-oriented, good team player Accept to travel frequently and work under pressure
(Mission and Objectives and Specific Duties of the Position)
1. Market Leadership: Increase Yokogawa's market share
2. Pipeline Development: Maintain a strong sales funnel for sustainable growth.
3. Lead technical and commercial discussions with C-level, plant managers, and engineering teams.
4. Build distributor networks, support activities (seminars, bids, training), and drive market coverage.
5. Prioritize and manage sales pipelines, focusing on high-potential opportunities.
6. Conduct market/competitor analysis and provide actionable insights.
7. Organize customer forums, exhibitions, and digital campaigns to boost brand visibility.
8. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
9. Understand customer processes and equipment, particularly in Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
