The sales representative is responsible for overseeing the sale of products and/or services from beginning to end. This individual is the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a hospital and/or customer's needs and expectations are met. A sales representative must know our product or service inside and out and guide hospital, surgeon or customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily. And conduct all activities according to local law and company policies.
Provide account management and maintain good rapport with customers to ensure attainment of sales objectives
Build and establish relationships with existing and potential customers to grow sales and share in the Sports Medicine, Extremities, Trauma and Foot & Ankle markets
Liaise with commercial leader and marketing to identify business growth opportunities; develop/execute sales and budgeting plans
Assist surgeons and nurses in the use of Zimmer's instruments and products in surgeries
Work with internal departments, adhere to the surgery case setting requirement. and support the review of instruments and implants consignment to ensure high quality services to customers
Conduct product training/workshops
Actively participate in product training/workshops to enhance product knowledge and surgical techniques
Study relevant clinical articles/information to enhance knowledge and provide relevant advice to internal/external customers
Keep tracking on competition and proactively seek support to compete at accounts/customer level
Ensure all selling processes are completed as per the "Mark Use to Payment Process"
Show leadership and guidance in interaction with junior sales reps, with view of being groomed to be a future segment leader.
Complete all internal assigned trainings including compliance trainings and execute all activities according to local law and company policies

University degree
2-5 years of experience in medical device sales – Orthopedics, Capital, Equipment, Diagnostic is preferred
Previous operating theatre experience is preferred
Demonstrated sales abilities & a track record of successful selling to the medical profession
Business travel mainly domestically. Travelling outside business hours or over the weekends would be infrequent.
