Job Summary

The Global Sales Order and Territory Analyst is responsible for supporting the setup, maintenance, and accuracy of the Customer Platform application in Oracle Cloud. This role plays a key part in managing territory structures, maintaining sales order data integrity, and ensuring proper credit assignment for sales reporting and compensation. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and support ongoing process improvements.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain the sales territory hierarchy by creating, updating, or deactivating sales representatives and adjusting team, industry, and geography alignments as needed.
  • Update and maintain the Sales Item hierarchy, ensuring accurate product group and transaction type assignments.
  • Support the assignment of sales order credit definitions and validate order credit alignment with compensation rules and territory structure.
  • Monitor and review sales order data for completeness and accuracy; identify and resolve sales credit exceptions, manual overrides, and splits.
  • Collaborate with the Incentive Compensation team to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate data handoff for compensation processing.
  • Assist in documenting processes, training materials, and standard operating procedures to support consistent execution and cross-training.
  • Provide regular reporting or insights related to order assignments, exception volumes, and key metrics to management.
  • Participate in future enhancements to Oracle Cloud or the Customer Platform application.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, or territory management required
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP/CRM platforms preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and complex data hierarchies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with sales compensation processes or tools
  • Experience using Salesforce, Oracle Cloud Customer Data Management, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to sales territory design or structure management
